[flickr style="float: left"]photo:2568239531[/flickr]Just wanted to make sure we sent out one more reminder that the August gathering of the Social Media Club Louisville will be Monday night (Aug. 18) this week instead of our normal, Third Tuesday, schedule. We’ll meet from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at the Water Tower/Louisville Visual Art Association. Light refreshments will be served.Jason Falls will present, “Where’s My Audience?” a look at how social media can save traditional media outlets. The presentation is a sneak peak at a similar one he is making at Blog World & New Media Expo in Las Vegas in late September. The talk will not only feature case studies of traditional media members employing social media to maintain relevance and engagement with their audiences, but dive into the strategic approach to achieve success.We’re expecting a good crowd and perhaps even several media members for this particular meeting, but please do make plans to attend and bring a friend. The more the merrier. As always, SMC Louisville events are free and open to all comers.
