Social Media Club Louisville

Image by taurusaficionado via Flickr Businesses, brands, managers and marketers everywhere are either trying to wrap their brains around the concept of social media and the social web or know they should be. For those in Louisville, an answer is available.

The Social Media Club Louisville will present a Social Media Breakfast Thursday, Sept. 25, 2008, from 7:30 a.m. until 9 a.m. at the Jefferson Club. The presentation will feature an overview of social media, a simple explanation of the tools and technologies needed to participate in it. Speakers will include leaders in the social media space from the Louisville area whose experience includes individual, small- to medium-sized business and big-brand success with social web programming and strategy.

The Jefferson Club is located on the 29th Floor of the PNC Bank Building at 500 West Jefferson Street. The breakfast will be held in the President Founders Room of the Club. Professional attire is recommended.

The cost of the event is $13 per person. Only cash and check will be accepted. Cancellations after Tuesday, Sept. 23 will be invoiced.
